When delivering a project, ensuring continuity and control is the primary metric for success. By keeping all operations under one roof, we can ensure the project runs as smoothly as possible, reducing risk and improving the success of your project.
We believe the key to any project is reducing risk; ensuring the manufacturability of any project is a critical first step. Putting all projects through our DfMA process enables the project to hit its budgets and timelines. We have SolidWorks, SolidCAM and Autodesk Invetor seats, as well as a network of external design engineering resources, al of which can be used for DfMA as well as the design of tooling, fixtures and jigs to support manufacture.
With two CNC machining centres on site, we have a large envelope for prototype, pattern, tooling and fixture manufacture from a variety of materials. Our Maka MM7t is a 5-axis machine with a machine voume of up to 3,000 x 1,500 x 650 mm, and our Mazak VTC760-C is a 3-axis machine with a machine volume of up to 1,740 x 760 x 660 mm.
Using our extensive experience from decades of composites engineering, we deploy a bespoke manufacturing methodology for all projects based on the requirements, costs and timelines. From kit cutting, pre-preg laminating and curing visual parts for multi-million dollar vehicles, to experience infusing carbon-fibre structures up to 11-metres long, we are confident we have the technology to suit any project.
We have the capablity to develop and implement assembly strategies across projects, with the equipment available on site and the experience across sectors. We have experience in fixture manufacturing and implementing assmebly strategies from highly-detailed assmebly within our own REAP bike production, to structural internal suspension and longitudinal support assembly for the Gibbs Humdinga project.
